ABOUT THE RUN

On the 1st July 2010 five dedicated Atheletes will attempt to run 15 marathons in 15 days across Australia's driest desert to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

This will be the first attempt to run across the Simpson Desert from the geographical centre of Australia in the NT to Birdsville in QLD.  Running a total of 640km the runners will endure extreme temperatures in the high 30's and run over 1300 sand dunes.  Please support us in our goal to raise $250,000 to fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of Breast Cancer.
